# Delete an interpretation project

> Delete an Interpretation project owned by your account.

  Deletion is scoped to your ownership. Deleting a project does not retroactively change what the ledger already settled, and it does not cancel work that is still reconciling.

### Common errors

* `code = 47102`: the project does not exist **or** is not owned by your account.
* `code = 47122`: temporarily unavailable — retry with backoff.
