# Get a retry plan

> Ask the server what a retry of a failed target would cost and which cycle it would use.

Only a target in `FAILED_RELEASED` with `action = "RETRY"` can be retried. This endpoint returns the server's plan; the client never prices a retry.

### Common errors

* `code = 47117`: the target does not exist, is not part of this project, or is not owned by your account.
* `code = 47118`: the target is not in a retryable state.
* `code = 47102`: the project does not exist **or** is not owned by your account.
