# Retry a failed target

> Confirm the server's retry plan and restart the failed target language.

Restarts one target language that ended in `FAILED_RELEASED`. The amount fields you send are a **confirmation of the server's plan**, taken from the retry plan — not client-side pricing.

  Do not adjust or recompute `characters`. If the plan is no longer valid, request a new retry plan instead of guessing a new amount.

### Common errors

* `code = 47118`: the target cannot be retried (wrong state or a stale plan).
* `code = 47110`: not enough Characters available.
* `code = 47117`: the target does not exist, is not part of this project, or is not owned by your account.
* `code = 47111`: the `Idempotency-Key` was reused with a different body.
