# Delete a music project

> Delete a music project owned by your account.

  The delete is scoped to your ownership and is idempotent: a project that does not exist, or that belongs to another account, returns the same success. Success therefore means "this call needs no further delete handling" — it is **not** proof that the project existed or that this call removed it. Nothing about another account's data is affected or disclosed.

### Common errors

* `code = 47017`: a generation is still in flight for this project. The job is **not** cancelled; wait for it and retry the delete.
